My hole-in-one was on
hole #22. My good friend, Lou GianDomemico was with me spending
an enjoyable afteroon having some fun. The hole was 117 yards
and I had hit a Pitching Wedge. The ball was aiming right for
the Green. The Green is a big enough hole for me to aim at,
never mind the cup.
Well, the ball landed 4 feet behind the cup, and had enough backspin
to roll directly into the cup. I couldn't believe what had happened
because a mound was blocking some of the view to the green. So
I started walking (running) up to the green, looking
for a ball. But there was none to be found. Low and behold, there
was the little bastard staring at me in the cup.
The ball is now retired, its done its job. It is mounted in a
beautiful casing that my children have given to me. A hole-in-one
is a great event, but my family is even greater.
